Motorcycle Repair: partial clutch disengagement ?, sth australia, clutch mechanism

Hi Chris , I live in sth australia and have a clutch problem YZ125w 90 model. When the clutch lever is pulled in it still shudders forward and eventually stalls underload.I have had the unit out checking 4 steps worn in the basket and hub,ridges in the pressure plate and even replaced the fiber plates with no improvment.I have even put it to a mechanic ,the first time in 30 years of bikes, even they couldn't find the problem ,,,help...---...---

Hi Mark.
 How worn are the various parts of the clutch mechanism from the lever to the clutch basket.  If the mechanism that activates the clutch itself is worn too far, then it will never engage properly.

That's the only thing that I can think of.  I wish that I could help further.
