Nissan Repair: 1982 datsun 280zx turbo

Question
My car seems to bogg down as I excelarate, usually about 3000 rpm, I have replaced spark plugs and wires, had the car stored in a barn and mice have eaten all vacuum hoses. I tried using Manuel to figure it out. I also need some to tweak the car, its right on the edge of running great. Can you recommend a mechanic in the Denver metro area .
Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Robert -

I am sorry, I do not know of any competent mechanics in your area. I am in Hawaii, so it is difficult.

However, besides replacing the vacuum hoses, I would recommend the fuel pump be replaced, which is what is probably causing the bog down on your vehicle. I don't know how long your car was in storage, but fuel pumps normally go out with lack of use.

Hope this helps -
