Nissan Repair: Radiator fan, radiator fan, nissan quest

I have a 1999 Nissan quest.When the fan kicks on,it vibrates hard and makes a loud noise. What do I need to fix this problem?

Hi Dennis -

I would check the fan blades to see if it is cracked or pieces missing. Also ensure that the mounting bolts are tight. Should be 4 10mm bolts.

I would think that the fan and motor would need replacing as they are not repairable. After inspecting the fan and if you find it to be defective, you may be able to get away with just replacing the fan.
