Nissan Repair: 2000 Maxima O2 sensor, o2 sensors, o2 sensor

Hi Calvin, i have a 2000 Maxima Stick Shift. I saw a post here on this site from a few years ago and read that O2 sensors can be going off because of coils and plugs not working, and how the car can misfire. I was wondering if the same was true for a manual trans. cuz I feel like the car is bucking when I put it in either 1st or 2nd gear. When I went for inspection,they failed me because of the O2 sensor. They said it was leaving fuel unburnt in the exhaust. I'm really stumped. Thanks

Yes, the same issues would hold true for manual transmissions.

However, if there is a misfire, usually there is a specific code for it. naming a specific cylinder.

Can you give me the current code that is displayed?
