1997 Nissan maxima air control problem position 1, 2, 3 not working 4 does changed out twice same problem where do I go from here

Hi Edward -

The problem is your resistor. Open the hood, and look on the firewall passenger side. It should be around there where the evaporator tubes go into the interior of the car. Look for a couple wires that connect to a plastic terminal. The assembly is held by a couple screws attached to the ductwork of the A/C system.
