Nissan Repair: Starting Problems, fuel pressure regulator, nissan sentra

This is a 94 Nissan Sentra 1.6. It almost starts but not quite. Can roll it over and over but no ignition. I'm thinking fuel pressure regulator. We have spark & fuel. All ignition parts have been replaced. Even got a new used distributor put on. Timing is on. I checked that and I know how to do that. What do ya think?

Do you have the check engine light on?

If not, then check the fuel pump, especially if the hard starting is on a warmed up engine. When checking the fuel pump, ensure that both pressure and volume of fuel delivery is checked.

If the check engine light is on, then the code must be retrieved to get to the next step.
