Nissan Repair: 97 Nissan Altima, nissan altima, white smoke

97 Nissan Altima just started sputtering and check engine light is flashing. Lifted the hood and it was cloud of white smoke.

First thing we have to do is find out what code is displaying to cause the engine light to illuminate. there are literally hundreds of possible codes. An OBD reader will do the trick. If you have an Autozone in your area, they should do it for free.

Once you have the code, let me know what it is, and we can pinpoint your problem from there.
