Land Rover Repair: blown fuse, land rover discovery, blown fuse

Question
My son has a 1996 land rover discovery, there is a fuse in the box under the steering column that keeps blowing.  It causes the truck not to start, it turns over but does not start.  Once we realized it was the fuse we replaced it and it worked for a few days, but now when it blows it blows as soon as we try to start the car.  What do you think it is?

Answer
I think you should go to www.landrovertechinfo.com and download the relevant wiring diagrams for your truck.  You should then figure out what's connected to that circuit and fix it.

If I had to guess, I'd guess you have a shorted oxygen sensor heater that blows the fuel pump fuse.
