Nissan Repair: A/C condenser for 2002 Pathfinder, blow air, auto zone

Question
I replaced the condenser with  a new after market condenser from AutoZone.  However, there is no pressure switch connection on the new condenser.  Are there any work arounds to get this to work?  We took the switch out of the old unit and if we blow air from an air compressor into the switch, the A/C compressor kicks on.  I double checked with Auto Zone and I have the correct condenser.  Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Wayne -

The only thing I would suggest is to have a fitting installed to accept the switch so it can operate per design.

You can bypass the switch by crossing the wires together, but I would not recommend it, as the switch is a safety device which protects the compressor.

Hope this helps -
