Nissan Repair: torsion bar adjustment - 93 pathfinder, torsion bar adjustment, torsion bar suspension

what if any adjustment is there for the torsion bar suspension on the front wheels? does the adjustment mean the ride will be higher or lower or softer or harder? I have a soft or " boaty " feel to the front suspension right now and that probably means the shocks are finished unless I can adjust the torsion bars to go harder........any ideas?

Hi Peter -

Torsion bars are adjustable to some extent, but it is best left to someone who has an alignment rack, as the right and left must be identically set.

Have you tried checking/replacing the strut assemblies?
