Nissan Repair: car stalling, nissan altima, accelerator pedal

I have a 1999 Nissan Altima and the car will start idle for about 10 sec. then the RPMS will drop and the car will die. There is no check engine light that is on what could be my problem?

Does the car start right up again? If you press the accelerator pedal, does it still die? Is it running rough when it is running? When was you last tune up?
