Nissan Repair: nissan blower motor, nissan maxima, motor shaft

My blower for my heater does not come on unless i tap where it is underneath the glove compartment. I assume this is the blower motor because it blows on all speeds.I have a 2002 nissan maxima, i think you said it would be pretty simple to replace this blower motor. This being said about the blower working on all speeds, this would definitely be the motor instead of a resistor correct?

Hi Sam -

You are correct. If you can get it to work that way, then  it is definitely the motor.

Yes, should be basic to replace. I think the bolts that hold the motor to the duct is 8mm, and the nut that holds thae fan to the motor shaft is 10mm.
