Nissan Repair: Where is the coolant level sensor on a 2004 Nissan Sentra?, coolant temperature sensor, coolant level

Question
Calvin,
My Service Engine light came on under 98,000 miles.  Advanced Auto ran a diagnostic and said it was either the coolant temperature sensor or the level sensor.  I replaced the temperature sensor and light is still on. My next step would be replace the level sensor, but I can't find it! I'm really wondering if this is just a reminder to get it serviced. The service manual recommends to replace the spark plugs at 98,000.  Coincidence or not?  I don't know.  Is there a way to reset the computer to find out?
Thanks,
Brent

Answer
Hi Brent -

Can you tell me exactly what code came out? Was it P0128?

The coolant level sensor should be in the reservoir, attached to the bottom.

The Service engine light will come on when one of the sensors causes it to illuminate.

You have a separate light for maintenance, if so equipped that will illuminate every few thousand miles to remind you of an oil change. This will not come on for spark plugs.

You can reset the computer by removing the fuse for 20 seconds and rep-lace, or it can be reset with the OBD device.

Hope this helps -
