Nissan Repair: 99 Nissan Sentra Automatic Transmission, auto transmission fluid, nissan sentra

Hi, I have a 99 Nissan Sentra, and when I go over 60 mph, sometimes the car doesn't shift into OD and stays in 3rd gear.  I changed the Auto Transmission Fluid and it is still the same.  Should I take it to a Transmission shop? What do you recommend?

Hi Alex -

You might want to try one more thing before the tranny shop. There is an additive out called AT205. I have had wonderful success with it in the past, perhaps you might try it.

Other than that, you are correct, needs an overhaul.
