Nissan Repair: Service Engine Soon, nissan frontier, 2004 nissan frontier

Good evening, I have 2004 Nissan Frontier V6 3.3 Liter . The service engine light came on at 100,000 miles. I have completed all of the suggested servicing. Can you tell me the correct way to turn the service engine light off correctly? Is there a reset button? Thanks for any help, Chris

Hi Chris -

Just to confirm it is a SES (Service Engine Soon) light, not the maintenance required light that illuminated.

If it is the SES, the vehicle will have to be taken to get an OBD done. Any one of many sensors in the engine will cause the light to come on, and the OBD will tell you what direction to take, otherwise you will be shooting in the dark.

I think Autozone will give you a free check.
