I have a 2007 nissan sentra. When I turn the lights on at night, all the interior instruments illuminate except the postitions of the shift selector. Is there a seperate fuse or bulb for that area?

Hi Spencer -

Yes, it is most likely the bulb there. You will have to remove the console assembly for that. It should be connected to the housing once you remove and lift the console. There are about 6 philips screws that hold the console, might have to push the seats forward and back to get to them.
