Nissan Repair: Evaporator clog, ball point pen, followup question

Hi, This is a followup question to my previous posts. Can you tell me how to unclog my evaporator drain tube in the 2002 QX-4? How do I access it? Thanks

Under the vehicle, passenger side, at the bottom of the firewall, you will see a black tube that extends down.  It is rubber and has a valve on the end of it.  Really, it is a slit that keeps bugs and dirt from entering.  A ball point pen can be used to unblock it.  Also, from inside the vehicle you should pull the carpet back from the firewall and see if the tube is still connected at the bottom of the blower case.  If it is cracked or has come loose the water will drain inside the vehicle instead of out.
