me and I wud like to turn it off. How wud I go about doing that?

ANSWER: Romar,

I need the code to let you know what the problem is.  Go to Autozone or  Checker and they will read the code for free.  Email me back with the code and we'll go from there.

QUESTION: soory i took so long to respond i have been working alot of
double shifts but i was able to go to autozone and the said
p0325 (knock sensor) and the other is fuel air metering i
for got that code but thats what i remember hearing the
gentleman from autozone telling me. What do i need to get at
a relatively good price and if you know the code for the
fuel air metering but be a great help as well thanks again!

Answer
Romar,

It is nothing the shop did.  I would replace the knock sensor and reset the code and it should stay off.  A nice thing will be the increased gas economy.  The car learns as it is driven and holds 50 ignition cycles in memory, so it will be a few days before it runs excellent and you notice the fuel economy increase.

Replace the knock sensor and replace the mass airflow meter.  Disconnect the battery for five minutes and this will clear the codes.
