Nissan Repair: 2000 Frontier 3.3l V6 Cold Stall, air control valve, frontier 3

Question
When cold starting engine it stalls unless you give it alot of gas. Once warmed up there is no problem.

Answer
David,

I would think you are in need of cleaning or replacement of the idle air control valve.  Pull yours and clean it and reinstall it.  If you have not changed the spark plugs in a while I would do that too.  There is no fuel filter to replace so it is just a matter of cleaning the idle air control valve or replacement.  Plugs are optional as long as it has not been several years.
