I was driving down the high way today going about 80-90 km per hour  when the car started to jerk and the idol started moving up and down quite drastically. when I took my foot off the gas it subsided. I got off the highway and kept it at about out 50kms but the moment I gave it more gas it began to do it again. any ideas what could be wrong?

Either the distributor is contaminated with oil and that is messing up the ignition circuit or the air meter has failed and causing the problem.  You will need each checked. The cost is about the same for both.  rockauto.com or autopartswarehouse.com are both cheap sources I use.
