QuestionWhat does it mean when my C.E.L. hasn't come on but the car
wont rev over 2500 rpm. while at stand still or driving, and
when I turn the screw on the ECU it makes a ticking sound in
3's repeatedly which i can feel ticking by the throttle
body? I have changed the fuel pump,plugs,starter,ignition
switch,fuel filter and cleaned the idle air control valve
thourogly with carb cleaner and wire brush. All thats left
to my knowledge is new ignition coils? Please save my
sanity. Thank you greatly in advance for any answers.

The tick is normal. You do not have a code since there is no Sensor for the converter and the mass airflow sensor does not throw a code. Purchase a Haynes Manual and get a digital volt ohm meter and use these to check the mass airflow sensor. if the sensor checks good then you are probably looking at the catalytic converter.
