Nissan Repair: Xterra repair, oil sending unit, oil leak

Got an oil leak. Had an estimate done. They say I need an oil sending unit, valve cover gaskets, and upper intake gasket. They're saying about $650. Seems really high to me. Whatya think?

$650 is well within reason since what you are having replaced is most difficult to replace.  The upper intake due to the complexity of sensors and connectors is difficult.  The gaskets are difficult too since the plug boots, coils and connectors have to be removed to facilitate the gasket replacement.  The only thing that is easy is the oil sending unit.
