hi my engine light is on mecanic says fault is crank sensor are they easy to fit.also do you know location.and finaly will it cause damage if i keep running it veicle is nissan terrano x reg

I would replace the sensor right away.  If your Nissan does not have a distributor the crank angle sensor is on the timing cover down by the crank pulley.  If it has a distributor it is the distributor that needs replacement.  I would limit driving the vehicle until the sensor is replaced.
