Nissan Repair: CANNOT OPEN LEFT REAR DOOR, trip levers, nissan repair

QUESTION: 2002 INF.QX4 LEFT REAR DOOR WILL NOT OPEN,HAVE DOOR PANEL OFF AND CABLES DISCONNECTED,.CANNOT ACTUALLY OPEN DOOR TO REPLACE ACTUATOR,PLEASE HELP

ANSWER: Hi Steve -

Look into the door and see where the linkage from the inside door release handle is connected to the latch. Pull on it, and the door should open.

QUESTION: Calvin,
   Did not work,.possibly I gave you the wrong model,..it's a Inf. FX35,..there are no levers to pull to open door,there are 3 levers(cables# that are disconnected,..the vin# is JNRAS08W23X000326,...Please note I am a Mitsu ser/mgr doing repair for relative,...thanks again,..sorry for the bum steer,.waiting to hear from you (the main island is great been there)!

HMM, I do not see a 2002 FZ35 iin my list of models for that year. I do have a G35, though.

I am attaching a diagram. Please tell me if this is what your lock assembly looks like?

QUESTION: Calvin,
Similiar, but not really,...the inside door handle assembly is about. 8" long by 1.5 inches(plastic),the actuator is almosr too hard to see in the upper corner of the door,.spent 1/2 hr. with mirror and feeling around,.no trip levers or typical linkage rods to pull ot throw.steve

I've been checking around and cannot find anything. Having no lever or linkage, is strange. Let me check around more for you, can you give me your email, mine is cjiwash@yahoo.com. Reason being I am going on VAC pretty soon.
