Nissan Repair: no power to the fuel pump, oil pressure switch, fuel pump relay

Question
i have a 2004 maxima and is was crashed. i fix the car, but now it won't start. i check for spark, compression, time, and fuel. i found out that there is no power at the fuel pump. is there a fuel cutoff switch and if so were is the reset for the switch. and yes a tested the fuel pump it works.

Answer
Kyemanie,

The fuel pump is powered from a relay.  Nissan uses the oil pressure switch to allow for the circuit to be powered.  If the car gets inverted there will be no oil pressure and that will turn off the relay.  Check the oil pressure switch to make sure it is working by cranking the engine over and seeing the oil light turn off.  Car does not have to run.  The fuel pump relay could have been damaged in the accident so replace it.  If you do not have power to the fuel pump relay then the ECM would be defective or a wire damaged.  You could power the fuel pump be tapping into a fused circuit that is switched to verify the vehicle will run.
