QUESTION: My turn signals work correctly. When i go to turn on
the lights once it becomes dark, which is a dial on the
left side the high beams come on, instead of the
normal headlights. Then the instrument panel
doesn't have illumination. Yesterday, while i was
driving, i the, normal headlamps stopped working, the
high beams were on. Also, the illumination of the
instrument panel was out also. What do i need to
do? I drive a 1996 Nissan 300zx

Answer
Hi Rodney -

Sorry, I thought your headlight switch was on your steering column along with the turn signals. Most cars are like that nowadays.

OK, then replace your headlight switch on the dash housing. So, are you saying that when  you turn the knob of that switch, you get no response from the instrument panel lights?

Thanks
