Question
QUESTION: I have a 1999 bluebird legrand,at time u will be driving and everything in the dashboard go dead, and transmission startb to race, then the dashboard come back up what could be the cause, please help

ANSWER: Christopher,

Putt the instrument cluster out and clean the connections on the back and the harness that connects to it with a number 2 pencil eraser.  You can even use contact cleaner but sparingly.  Blow off the eraser dust and make sure the connection is tight.  THe computer picks up the speed of the car at the cluster and some Nissan cars display a problem with this connection.  If this does not fix the problem email me back.

QUESTION: I still have the problem with my 1999 bluebird legrand,at times driving everything in the dasboard go dead, and the transmission start to race in one gare, after stopping turning off the car,for a while then turn the car on it comes up back, whats is really the problem a really need your help please.

Answer
Christopher,

Pull the cluster and clean the harness and cluster connections with a number 2 pencil eraser.  Blow off the dust and reinstall.  If the problem is solved you are done.  If not source a used cluster.  The computer picks up RPM and speed at the cluster.  If it is defective the transmission will do strange things.
