how do i turn on/off my heated seats? the buttons have no indication on/off low/high

i have a 2003 nissan altima 2.5sl 4cyl

The center position is supposed to be off.  If your have been messed with try each position.  The one without heat is the off setting.  Do not disconnect wires under the seat if you have side seat airbags as it will throw a code on the airbag circuit and cost you $100 to have it turned off.  If the heated seats bug you they can be disabled with removing the fuse.
