Nissan Repair: air cooling on passenger side but not on driver or in back, nissan dealership, nissan quest

I have a 2006 Nissan Quest & have recently had it in the shop three different times & STILL have the same problem.  The airconditioning cools wonderfully on the passenger side but blows out hot air on the driver side, as well as in the back.  Also smell coolant outside of car when the car is running.  The Nissan dealership service dept. replaced some kind of "door mixer" on the drivers side.  This did not fix the problem.  After returning it to the shop a second time, they "recharged" the AC which fixed things for about two weeks. Now I am back at square one.  Please help!

I would take it back and have the system pressures checked.  Sounds like you have a leak.  I do not know why but when the system pressures get low the driver's side and the back do not work properly.  Have them tell you the system pressures and they should tell you there is a small leak.
