Nissan Repair: 96 Nissan pickup, vacuum leaks, oil leaks

Minor oil leaks all at once from valve cover, timing cover ,and front seal lead me to wonder if PCV system is malfunctioning. How can I test this system? Thanks!

Hi John -

Best way to check the PCV valve is to remove it and shake it baqck and forth. You should hear the check valve inside moving. If not, rpelace the valve. Also check the hose run for vacuum leaks and kinks.
