Nissan Repair: Leaking coolant, competent mechanic, timing belt

Question
Hi I have a 1990 2l nissan Vanette. It started leaking coolant. It doesn't seem to be overheating. I changed all the hoses  and clamps and the radiator and new hoses are dry have remained dry.  When i stop there is coolant leaking form under the engine. i cant see where it is coming from.
Could you tell me where it could be coming from or what i can do.
Much thanks
Willow

Answer
Hi Willow -

Looks like it is coming from your water pump. The pump is run by your timing belt, so this is an excellent time to replace the timing belt and tensioner at the same time.

A good and fair price for this repair should be around $300 to $400, so shop around for a good competent mechanic.

Hope this helps -
