Nissan Repair: Interior fan works intermittently, bump in the road, resistor

My fan has gone kaput. It will usually blow at first start but shut off after the car is shut off and turned back on (Lots of stops and starts). On a few occasions hitting a bump in the road has caused it to start up again, but again it will stop working on the next restart.

There are a few things that can cause this.

You need to check power at the blower.  

If it is constant the blower needs to be replaced.

If not then the switch or the blower resistor is defective.

The blower resistor is not that expensive so I would replace that before the switch.
