Nissan Repair: Drivers Window Issue, hi tim, problem thanks

Hello Calvin,
Just wanted to ask a question pertaining to something that happened to my power driver's side window on my 2001 Nissan SE.  Today it rained like crazy(hard down pours/actually two days worth).  The car had been sitting so today after opening the window and later trying to close it it jammed, went a bit forward/out of line and I had to help it up.  Seems okay now but I wouldn't let it all the way down.  Could that be caused by the excess mositure/rain or is this the beginning of a problem?

Hi Tim -

Looks like your window fell off the track. Usually there are 2 causes for this, the track is rusted and the window broke off of it, or the window got misaligned and needs to be replaced.

You will have to remove the door panel and plastic liner to get to the window and motor behind.

Your vehicle is not that old, so I am thinking it just has to be realigned and secured.
