Nissan Repair: A/C system, speciality equipment, condencer

Question
Hi Von will it be better for me and the car to get my system evac, recharge and refill by a shop or can i do it myself and will i notice a BIG difference between the two thanks for your time JCC

Answer
Juan,

Unless you have the speciality equipment to evacuate the system and the gauges and experience it is best left to a shop.

If your system is not working at all, as in empty, I would just pay a shop to top off your refrigerant.

Changing out the refrigerant or just filling will make no difference in system performance.

Other things like checking the condencer for debris and washing it as well as making sure the fan is working correctly are great ways to increase system performance.
