Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 17hp kawasaki FH500v-BS20-M, stator coil, next way

Stator & coil not alligned correctly.How do I allign to stop engine from misfiring.

The first thing to check is the flywheel key if it is partially sheared or totally sheared replace it.  The next way would be to remove the engine sump cover and check the marks on the crankshaft and camshaft there is a small mark on both ears that has to align.  That's how you would time this engine
