Nissan Repair: hard to start, nissan sentra gxe, nissan sentra

hi, i have problem on 2001 nissan sentra gxe 1.8. it's automatice. it's very hard to start the engine. i have to start least 2 times to get it's running and i have to keep to pump the gas during starting. what can i check to fix the problem? thanks

Hi Tom -

Next time you try to start the car, get some starting fluid, take off the intake boot and spray some into it. Replace the boot quickly and try to start.

If it starts right away, then perhaps it is the cold start valve that is not working.
