Nissan Repair: SPUTTERING NOISE WHILE ON DRIVE, high mileage, oxygen sensor

Question
I have a 2000 Maxima with 132000 miles. I had an oil change done over the weekend (Used High Mileage oil) and after the 2nd day I noticed my car would sputter while on drive. It doesn't sputter on park or when I have my foot on the brake. My check engine light turned on but when I went to have it checked (autozone) it popped out with codes P0138 and P0139. does the oxygen sensor have anything to do with this problem?
I've known for the past year that both sensor need to be replaced but i've been stalling on getting them replaced.
Will this cause the sputtering?

Answer
you need to address your codes.  have your ECU scanned, and it will tell you what the codes mean.  at your mileage i also suggest a tune up.   i cant really help you with more than that because i don't know what those codes mean.  a rough running engine usually indicates a misfire, either its a faulty plug(s), coil, or a sensor not telling the ECU how much fuel and air to mix.  good luck and happy holidays.
