Nissan Repair: cv boot, awd vehicles, cv boot

Question
is the cv boot related to the transmission on a car with cvs transmission(murano)?

Answer
i do not understand your question, but a cv boot is a protective rubber piece that holds grease in the bearings between the shafts on FWD and AWD vehicles in the front only.  a cv joint is  a axle that connects the front wheels to the transmission, and also pivots allowing  you to turn the wheels as well as move them.   please google for a better description as that really is a nutshell answer.  cvs/cvt i think has something to do with auto rev matching so you don't feel any thing shifting giving it a more powerful feel...but don't quote me on that!
