Why does 93 Pathfinder power locks, lock every time the door is shut? Whether the car is on, off, running or not.

Hi Casey -

There is probably a short or loose connection in your power lock system, most likely the solenoid or related components. The door panel needs to be removed to access these components.

Are you fixing this yourself? Do you need basic instruction to remove the panels? In a nutshell, the best way to chekc this is to take each lock solenoid, disconnect them one by one while you close the doors sand see if the problem persists.
