Nissan Repair: 2005 Nissan Sentra, 2005 nissan sentra, turn signal switch

Question
A few months ago my dashboard lights and my tail lights went out, I replaced the fuse and it worked fine until about two days ago the same thing happened and when I went to replace the fuse again it just keeps burning out when ever I turn on the head lights. Do you know what this could be or how I can fix it?

Answer
Hi Dayshja -

Seems like you have a short in the headlight switch. To replace this, remove the plastic cover around your steering wheel (should be about 4 or 5 screws). Locate the wire harness coming from the headlight (turn signal) switch. Disconnect it at the harness and then you can remove the switch (I think it has a couple screws). Reconnect and you should be fine.

Hope this helps -
