Nissan Repair: Sentra wont start, crank angle sensor, timing light

Question
1997 Sentra sat for a day, and now won't start. I took number one plug out, and there is spark. Removed the hose to the fuel filter, and hooked up a line to a container and plenty of gas came out. Not sure what to try now. THANK YOU!

Answer
Rick,

Check for engine codes.  If there are none and you are getting gas and spark you need to check the ignition timing to make sure the system is firing properly.  That is, put a timing light on the car to make sure it is firing in time.  If not then the crank angle sensor would be my first thought.  Check this out and email me back and we'll go from there.
