Nissan Repair: 97 nissan pickup open door bell, nissan pickup, guy friends

Question
I am going insane with the driver side open door bell that will NOT stop whether the lights are on or not.  I have had several of my guy friends trying to figure out how to disconnect it but nobody can figure it out.  I has absolutely no usefull purpose and is so irritating especially when I come home later in the evening and all the neighbors hear me if I have to take things out the drivers side.   HELP!!! Please

If you want to disconnect it, there is a relay under the dash driver's side. Sorry, the location varies, so the best way is to open the door, listen where the chiming is coming from, and simply pull out that relay. Best way to determine is to feel it, as it vibrates as it is chiming.

Sorry this is not more technical, but this would be the best and fastest way. Pulling the fuse will also do it, but sometimes it is connected to other circuits.
