Nissan Repair: 2000 sentra, coil pack, rockauto

Question
What do I look for when inspecting a coil pack?

Answer
Ben,

Remove the coil, use a length of wire and insert it in the end, crank the engine over and see if there is spark.  You do this by holding the coil and the wire you have inserted about a quarter of an inch from the engine.  There should be a spark.  Now, you have the 2000 so I would jsut replace the coils if they have not already been changed.  Nissan had coil problems in 2000 to 2001.  rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com
