my 98 nissan maxima wont drive pass 2000 RPM...i have to drive at a very slow paste..is there any advice u can give me to help?

Several things can cuase this problem.

Look at the fuel to make sure it is at the right pressure.

Check the converter to see that it is not melted partially closed.

Defective plugs that need replacement will cause the car to not rev properly.

A defective air meter.

Are there any codes?  If so, email them to me.  Autozone or Checker will check the codes for free.
