Nissan Repair: Washer Fluid Dispenser, fluid dispenser, computer keyboard

Question
I bought my 97 altima used and when I got it the passenger side fluid dispenser worked fine , but the driver's side just had water pooling around it. I washed my car now neither work. Im thinking maybe they are clogged but Ive tried using a pin/paper clip to clear the blockage but to no avail. I dont think its the pump because before I washed it the passenger side had more than enough pressure. If it is the nozzles what do I do with them?

Answer
HI Maria -

First of all, pull off the rubber hose that attaches to the metal tubing under the hood.

operate the washer and see if water comes out. If so, then use a long small wire to clean out the tubing. Sometimes a paper clip is not long enough. Might also help to use comopressed air (like the can you use to clean you computer keyboard).

If not water comes out, and you still hear the washer pump running, check the rubber hose for clogs.

If you do not hear the pump running, either check the electrical connections or replace the pump.

Hope this helps -
