Nissan Repair: Squeaking from the Front Right Wheel, brake pad, probable cause

Question
Hi Mate,

A quick question, My Pulsar makes a squealing sound when I'm driving around from my front right hand wheel.I took the wheel off and had a look at the brakes. There was only abou 3mm left. Would this be the problem. I couldn't see any other reason for the noise as everything is exactly the same. The squeling usually starts if i hit a bump or drive on a rough surfaced road. I was not sure if it could also be the suspension

Answer
Daniel,

Yes, the brake pad is the probable cause of the noise.  I would replace the pads with factory ones.  courtesyparts.com or your local dealer.  But, you need the pads replaced.  The rotors should be resurfaced or replaced and that will eliminate the squealing noise.
