Nissan Repair: Nissan 240sx SR20DET turbo has a crack, nissan 240sx, s14 sr20det

turbo I'm building up a S14 SR20DET for my 93' 240SX. When I was cleaning the turbo, I found a crack on the air intake side that goes almost completely around it on the inside part of the turbo. The turbo spins freely and there is no play in the shaft, which I've read that those are good signs of a good used turbo. Do you think I could JB weld it or is it junk?

Personally, I would just replace the unit. That is a pretty significant crack.

However, JB weld would be a good patch material for it. I think it would work, unless you know someone that can braze it for you -
