Nissan Repair: 1996 Nissan 300zx Keyless entry, nissan 300zx, troubleshooting ideas

Hello,

Can someone please give me some troubleshooting ideas on why the keyless entry would stop working? My keyfob has a new battery.  I tries to reprogram the fob, but that did not work either.

If you used the procedure to reprogram the keyfob and it did not work then either the remote is defective, the battery you replaced is bad or the body control module is cooked.  My money rests with the battery that you replaced or the keyfob itself.  ebay or other on-line sources are a cheap source for another keyfob.
