Nissan Repair: NISSAN SERENA 94 VAN-FANBELT SCREECHING SOUND, nissan serena, fan belt

Hi,when i start the van it makes a high,screeching sound really loud!and ive been told it does that because its wet sometimes,but this sound is very very loud and i have to reeve the van up until it stops.Its a Nissan Serena 1994 Diesel Non Turbo mini van.

Hi Tai -
Either the fan belt(s) needs tightening or replacement. If you haven't changed them in a while, now is a good time to replace them. Depending on whether your car has A/C or not, you should have about 3 belts. Change them all, and you should be good to go.
