Nissan Repair: Frontier - noise in front end, low pitch, bearings

Question
I just had the brakes done and the noise did not go away.  It is a low pitch noise that sounds like it is winding up when I increase speed and winds down as I decrease speed.  Most noticeable at lower speeds vs. highway.  Could it be bearings?  are these expensive to replace?

Answer
Mike,

If the low pitch noise is a growl and not pad noise it will be the bearing.  If yours is two wheel drive it is not difficult.  If four wheel drive you are looking at some money to get things done.  Several hundred dollars to get the bearings replaced.
